Hey There,
My name is Kayla. I am a Multidisciplinary Artist and Healer.
After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in 2020 from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Political science and a minor in Psychology and Sociology, I underwent self-exploration and self-discovery.
Much of this was incited by my transition to a plant-based diet. I’ve spent the past 4 years researching, studying, and experimenting with Plant-Based food. This includes the completion of 2 courses that centered Plant Based Eating, one with a Plant Based Nutrition Coach by the name of Brialle Ringer, and the other was with Queen Afua, the Mother of Womb Wellness.
What I discovered is that, none of the books I read or courses that I took on Plant Based Nutrition truly prioritized TASTE. Through my own journey, and the journeys of my peers, I realized that there was a need for taste to be valued, for people to ACTUALLY to sustain and maintain ANY diet. Hence, Nourish with Nature was created.
Aside from offering Plant Based Meal Creations, I offer other self-discovery and self-mastery tools to the collective through my music, poetry, clairvoyance, astrological interpretations, and herbal wisdom. I share information, art, and recipes with the intent of bettering lives, improving conditions, and raising the vibration of the collective.

Harriet, my grandmother, is a retired teacher, turned entrepreneur. She applied my methods to her lifestyle. Although Harriet was recovering from HER2 Breast Cancer, her passion was baking cakes.
Her doctors had detected the cancer early on, but she knew she needed a massive change to improve her quality of life after receiving 6 rounds of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiation. Before working with me, Harriet took on a traditional American Diet. Lots of fried foods, breads, and meat.
I worked with her for about 12 weeks and helped her implement more taste-satisfying, Plant-Based Recipes into her diet. During our work, her diet was about 40% American Diet and 60% plant-based. She had been struggling with inflammation in her ankles, anemia, and high blood pressure after her chemotherapy. The inflammation that she’d experienced in her ankles limited her mobility. This left her unable to move around as comfortably as she once did. She found it harder to stand for long periods of time, and even more challenging to attend the markets that were necessary for her to sell her cakes.
She used the methods and practices that are included in Nourish With Nature, and after just a few days of implementing some of my recipes and teachings, the swelling in her legs completely went down, allowing her the mobility she hadn’t experienced in months. She was completely amazed because the medication she’d been prescribed for the swelling hadn’t been as effective as the Plant Based Diet. It wasn’t long before she started to feel more energized and inspired to move around, take walks, and do her own research on eating Plant Based. Not to mention, her blood pressure levels normalized. She no longer needed blood pressure medication, although her doctors still recommended she take it. Her iron levels also improved with the implementation of that Plant-Based Diet to where she is no longer anemic. Weight loss wasn’t her intent for going plant based, but ultimately, she found many of her old clothes were too big for her to fit into, leaving her with a need for an entirely new wardrobe.
Throughout the journey, she was constantly in awe of how delicious the Plant-based meals I provided her with were. She’d ask things like, “Are you sure this is Plant Based?” She hadn’t known it was possible for plant-based food to taste so good.
Today, she is still cancer-free and is experiencing the benefits of not having to waste time worrying about her health and wellness. She’s currently traveling, spending time with family, and making cakes. She’s planning her return to the local Farmer’s Markets where she sells her cakes.
